Addressing the media, the Director-General of GES, Prof. Ernest Davis, disclosed that a committee will be established to investigate reports of extravagant post-graduation celebrations, as well as speech and prize-giving events being organised by some Senior High Schools. He added that private schools found flouting the directive will also be investigated. Prof. Davis issued a stern warning to heads of schools, urging them to strictly comply with the directive. “If they can’t change the situation, the situation will change them.
