  • Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?

    2 Corinthians 6:14

What does it mean to be "unequally yoked"?
In agriculture, two animals of different strengths or temperaments would not be yoked together, as it would hinder their progress and cause discomfort and stagnation. Similarly, when believers and unbelievers are "yoked" together, it can lead to:

    - Spiritual hindrance
    - Compromised values
    - Unequal burdens

    EXAMPLES OF SUCH PRACTICES

    1. Seeking help from witch doctors or occult practitioners:

Believers should not seek guidance or assistance from those who practice witchcraft, divination, or other forms of occultism but rather wait on God for He will not disappoint.

    2. Romantic relationships with unbelievers:

While it's not impossible for believers to marry unbelievers, the Bible warns against being "unequally yoked".
Believers should prioritize spiritual compatibility in romantic relationships.
A partner that is an unbeliever contains certain characteristics that are against the nature of God and has the ability to drag their Godly partners into going against the values of God.

    3. Close friendships that lead to spiritual compromise:

Believers should be cautious of close friendships that may lead to spiritual compromise or undermine their faith. Why value friendship to the extent of going against God to fit in with them. Why practice their evil ways to keep them close while pleading with God in prayers.

    WHAT DO I DO?

    1. Evaluate relationships: Assess your relationships and consider whether they align with your spiritual values.

    2. Seek wisdom: Pray for wisdom and guidance in forming and maintaining relationships.

    3. Prioritize spiritual growth: Focus on nurturing your spiritual growth and development, and seek relationships that support this goal.

  • Ezekiel 22:30 says: 'I looked for someone among them who would build up the wall and stand before me in the gap on behalf of the land so I would not have to destroy it, but I found no one.'

God is waiting for you to avail yourself to Him, and He will use you to bring change in your family, community, and nation.

You have seen the hand of the devil in your life and that of your family.

Will you accept that call to be used by God to save them?

#With you, God will break the chains of poverty. #With you, God will break the chains of distractions.
#With you, God will break the cycle of curses.

  • God has spoken.
    And it SHALL be established.
    Watch it unfold.

“Has He said, and will He not do? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good?”
